Russia and Ukraine have exchanged lists of prisoners of war (POWs) for an anticipated swap of 1,000 detainees, the largest of the war, agreed upon in Istanbul talks. Despite Ukrainian calls for a ceasefire, only the prisoner exchange was accepted by Moscow. Both sides have accused each other of delaying peace negotiations. The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized the complexity and pace of the swap, while Ukrainian President Zelenskyy viewed it as the sole positive outcome of the meeting.
