Researchers claim to have identified six living descendants of Leonardo da Vinci through genetic analysis, detailed in the book "Genìa Da Vinci" by Alessandro Vezzosi and Agnese Sabato. They reconstructed da Vinci's family tree spanning 21 generations and tested DNA of male-line descendants, confirming an unbroken genetic lineage for 15 generations. The book's findings are yet to be peer-reviewed, and Leonardo da Vinci's own DNA remains unconfirmed.
